Science Lessons Activity 1: Introduction to Ecology
Students will be introduced to the ecology unit by defining predetermined vocabulary words.
Activity 2: Examining Importance of Living things Interactions within the Environment
Students will examine a pictures of living things interacting within the environment. The goal is to get them to understand how dependent they are on each other.
Activity 3: Building of Terrariums and Aquariums
Students will construct terrariums and aquariums from soda bottles. They have been combined together and inside them seeds were planted to grow and fish and crickets were added into these "environments."
Activity 4: Food Web Lesson
The students will understand carnivores, herbivores, omnivores and producers and will construct their own food web.
